The famous view of the River Dordogne from the bastide of Domme, Aquitaine, France, in the early morning, as summer turns to autumn. We saw a photo of this scene many years ago and had always wanted a visit. The view did not disappoint, the weather was glorious, Domme itself a fascinating Medieval bastide.
