Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Late summer on Rannoch Moor, with Loch na h-Achlaise and the Black Mount. Rannoch Moor is very popular with photographers and artists, and of course it's very beautiful. However, be warned! It's not a moor, it's a bog! And the midges are unbelievable. Looking at this though, I think it was worth the effort. The light was wonderful.
